Leadership Ethics Explored at San Francisco State University’s Lam Family College of Business
André Lacroix recently kicked off the 2024-25 Business Ethics Speaker Series at San Francisco State University’s Lam Family College of Business.
This world-class institution is well known for preparing students to thrive in the fast-paced global economy and has been accredited by AACSB International since 1964—a gold standard achieved by fewer than 5% of business schools.
The session was highly energising as fundamental questions about what an ethical approach to good leadership involves were explored. Discussions covered how to drive laser-focused execution without micromanaging the organisation, recruit leaders who are both technically strong and emotionally intelligent, and identify the specific qualities that differentiate a good leader from a bad one. The conversation also delved into ways to increase engagement in the workplace in an increasingly demanding world and how leaders should embrace AI without compromising an empowering culture.
André emphasised that placing people at the heart of growth strategies is paramount to unleashing the full potential of an organisation and creating a workplace where everyone can thrive and deliver sustainable growth for all.
Appreciation is extended to all who participated for their thought-provoking questions. There is confidence that these future leaders will have highly successful careers, driven by integrity and a desire to make a positive difference.
