Sharing insights on a humanist approach to leadership in Shanghai

This week, André visited Shanghai Jiao Tong University, one of China’s leading institutions with a legacy of academic excellence spanning over 128 years.

Originally founded by the Guangxu Emperor to preserve China’s cultural heritage and provide benefits to all of humankind, Jiao Tong has flourished as one of the world’s top research universities, producing a wide range of highly esteemed alumni that include former president, Jiang Zemin and Tsien Hsue-shen, China’s “Father of Space Science.”

André was therefore honoured to speak to over 120 students in the Xu Mingcai Lecture Hall and share his perspective on how they can successfully fulfil Jiao Tong’s founding mission of reinvigorating humankind through a more humanist approach to leadership.

André extends his appreciation for SJTU for hosting him and to all the students who attended. He really enjoyed addressing their thought-provoking questions and hopes his insights resonated with them.

Let’s lead with soul. For good.
