Refining leadership in Rome

Last June, Intertek hosted its 10X Leadership event in Rome, a sprawling ancient metropolis renowned for its incredible civic culture and some of the crowning triumphs of art and architecture through the ages.

This remarkable city provided the perfect setting for the 10X programme, bringing together future leaders from across the organisation to invest quality time in refining their leadership styles as part of their personal growth journeys at Intertek, with the aim of elevating the business to impressive new heights.

Through a bespoke series of 10X workshops and seminars, André Lacroix shared valuable insights, drawn from his career spanning several leading global brands, supporting the personal growth of Intertek’s outstanding leaders.

During the event, participants explored how a humanistic approach to leadership can empower employees with a sense of purpose and unlock their unique individual talents.

André discussed how by placing people at the heart of the growth strategy, businesses can be built that create sustainable value for all stakeholders.

It was a privilege for André to reconnect with colleagues in such a magnificent setting, and appreciation is extended to everyone involved in making this event a success.

As the great Roman leader Julius Caesar once said, “Experience is the teacher of all things,” and it is hoped that the insights gained from this event will inspire everyone to become ever-better leaders, creating sustainable value for all.
