Inspiring Future Leaders in Sri Lanka with the Launch of the Sinhalese Edition of Leadership with Soul
André recently visited Sri Lanka, where he had the opportunity to meet with Intertek colleagues and engage with the next generation of leaders at two of the country’s leading universities.
The visit began at the University of Moratuwa, where André joined around 250 students and faculty members for an engaging discussion on what it means to practise Leadership with Soul and the importance of putting people at the heart of everything organisations do.
He then visited Intertek’s Colombo office for a local town hall, where he celebrated the achievements and contributions of colleagues through the AAA Awards. The event provided an opportunity to recognise the dedication and outstanding performance of the people who contribute to Intertek’s continued success.
The day concluded at the University of Colombo, where André met with around 200 students for another inspiring conversation on building successful careers in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world.
A particular highlight of the visit was the launch of the Sinhalese language edition of Leadership with Soul at both universities. Reflecting on the importance of developing the next generation of leaders, André emphasised his belief that young people represent 100% of the future. He hopes the new translation will bring the principles of Leadership with Soul to a wider audience and inspire Sri Lanka’s future leaders as they embark on their own journeys.
André shared his sincere thanks to everyone at the University of Moratuwa, the University of Colombo and Intertek for their energy, ambition and warm welcome throughout his visit.
