Empowering the workplace of tomorrow

André Lacroix recently visited the Universidad Europea in Madrid, one of Spain’s leading private universities, where he addressed a packed auditorium of over 100 students who were keen to learn how they can help shape a better tomorrow.

Leadership plays a vital role in providing a holistic education. The Universidad Europea understands this extremely well and instils in each of its students the qualities that they will need to be leaders in their chosen fields, with many of the university’s alumni having gone on to hold leadership positions, shaping policy across European politics and business.

As future leaders, the students have a unique opportunity to empower their workplace for the estimated 2.8 billion employees who currently feel disengaged.

André was impressed by the students’ questions as they discussed the leadership principles in his book, Leadership with Soul, and talked through different approaches on how to manage stress and increase motivation in the workplace. The international audience showcased the best from countries around the world, highlighting the success of the Erasmus programme and its ability to connect students to academic institutions where they can achieve their potential.
