Celebrating Success and Inspiring Future Leaders in India
André recently returned to the vibrant city of Delhi, where he joined colleagues at Intertek India for an energising townhall and gained insights into how the team continues to drive business growth and success across the region.
During the townhall at Intertek’s Gurgaon site, André celebrated the team’s collective achievements and recognised outstanding individual performance through the AAA awards, highlighting the importance of recognising and celebrating the contributions of people across the organisation.
As part of his visit, André also visited the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), where he engaged with around 250 MBA students in a discussion on Leadership with Soul. Drawing on his own leadership journey, he shared insights into the qualities required to build successful careers and lead effectively in an increasingly complex and rapidly changing world.
A key topic of discussion was the impact of artificial intelligence on the business environment in India and across the wider region.
Reflecting on the opportunities and challenges presented by AI, André emphasised that while technology will undoubtedly transform how organisations operate, it cannot replace great leadership. Sustainable success will continue to depend on achieving great things through people.
For André, the next generation of leaders has a unique opportunity to embrace emerging technologies while ensuring that people remain at the heart of organisational growth and success.
