André Lacroix Engages Sustainability Leaders at TERI School

André was delighted to engage with the brilliant MBA Sustainability cohorts at the TERI School of Advanced Studies in New Delhi. TERI is a truly special institution – the only one in the world dedicated entirely to nurturing a new generation of sustainability leaders for tomorrow.

During the discussions, André highlighted a challenge seen too often: many organisations today are over-managed and under-led. The conversation focused on the urgent need for a more humanist and responsible model of leadership – one that inspires and empowers teams, drives innovation, and creates sustainable growth and value for all.

André shared the belief that leaders are not born, they are made. True leadership requires purpose, empathy, and the courage to question established ways of doing things. It’s about continuously learning, staying curious, and inspiring others to do the same.

André extended his gratitude to Professor Suman Kumar Dhar, Shruti Sharma, and the members of the Academic Council – Anand Jaiswal, Parul Behl, Ph.D., and Moumita Acharyya – for their warm welcome.

André is also very grateful to the students for their thoughtful questions, energy, and importantly, their spirit of optimism.
